The PADI Open Water Diver pathway

PADI Open Water Diver is the world's most popular scuba certification, qualifying you to dive to 18 metres independently with a buddy anywhere. The knowledge sections can be completed online via PADI eLearning before you arrive to shorten in-water time.

Where you'll dive in Tarkarli Malvan

Training uses the sheltered, shallow bay off Tarkarli and Malvan, beside the historic Sindhudurg Fort and the boat-accessed reefs off Malvan, where calm, clear warm 26-29C water in the post-monsoon October-to-May season, when the Konkan coast is calm and clear makes a forgiving classroom; expect reef fish, octopus, moray eels and the occasional stingray.
