The PADI Open Water Diver pathway

PADI Open Water Diver is the world's most popular scuba certification, requiring four open-water dives and certifying you to dive to 18 metres with a buddy. eLearning can be completed before arrival to shorten in-water time, and the certification is recognised worldwide for life.

Where you'll dive in Rasdhoo Atoll

Open Water training uses the sheltered shallows beside the island for confined skills and calm reef sites such as Veligandu East and Holhi Faru for the open-water dives, where 25-metre-plus visibility and frequent turtle and reef-shark sightings make learning memorable; the November-to-April season offers the most settled conditions.
