The PADI Open Water Diver pathway

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is recognised worldwide and qualifies you to dive independently with a buddy to 18 metres. It is the standard prerequisite for the Advanced Open Water course and beyond.

Where you'll dive in Djibouti

Training uses the sheltered reef sites of the Gulf of Tadjoura, where calm-to-moderate conditions, gentle currents and warm 24-30°C water through the October-to-February peak make an ideal classroom; this season also coincides with whale-shark sightings nearby.
