Course overview

Sharpen your underwater orientation with the PADI Underwater Navigator specialty in Coron, where finding your way around large wrecks and patchy reefs is a genuinely useful skill. Over a day of dives on sites such as Siete Pecados in warm 27-29C water, you master natural references, compass use and pattern navigation. You finish able to lead the way and explore Coron's sites with confidence.

What you’ll learn

• Estimate distance by kick-cycles, time and tank pressure
• Run navigation patterns such as squares and triangles

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification)
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician
• Basic comfort with buoyancy and trim
