Course overview

Get more bottom time on Rasdhoo Atoll's reefs and drifts with the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) specialty, the most popular specialty in diving. You will learn to analyse and dive with enriched-air blends so you can extend no-decompression limits and shorten surface intervals across the atoll's many multi-dive days, with certification often completed before you even get wet.

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) pathway

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) specialty can be completed through knowledge development alone or with optional dives, and counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating. It certifies you to dive with blends up to 40 percent oxygen.

Where you'll dive in Rasdhoo Atoll

Enriched air is especially valuable in Rasdhoo, where two or more dives a day at multilevel reef and channel sites are the norm; the extended no-decompression limits mean more time observing reef sharks and turtles at sites such as Madivaru Corner and Holhi Faru, best enjoyed in the calm November-to-April season.
