Course overview

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty certifies you to dive with nitrox, giving you longer no-decompression times, ideal for Koh Lanta's repetitive dives on big sites. With more bottom time you can linger on the deep walls of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang or make back-to-back dives at Koh Haa with a wider safety margin. It is the most popular specialty for a reason: more time underwater and a more conservative profile.

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) pathway

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty is largely a knowledge-development course and can be completed without dives, though applying it on a local dive is recommended. It counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating and is the most popular PADI specialty worldwide.

Where you'll dive in Koh Lanta

Nitrox pays off most on Koh Lanta's repetitive and deeper dives, extending bottom time on the offshore pinnacles of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang and on multi-dive days at Koh Haa. The November-to-April season delivers the calmest conditions for those longer dives.
