Course overview

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) specialty lets you dive longer with shorter surface intervals, ideal for Alor where multiple dives a day on deep walls and macro slopes are the norm. You learn to analyse enriched-air cylinders and set your computer correctly so you can extend no-decompression time across the archipelago's richest sites.

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) pathway

The PADI Enriched Air Diver specialty is one of the most popular specialties and counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating. It can be completed largely as knowledge development, with enriched-air dives often added on local sites.

Where you'll dive in Alor

Nitrox is especially valuable in Alor, where deep walls like Bama and Munaseli and repetitive multi-dive days mean extended no-decompression time keeps you in the water longer with the pelagics during the April-to-November season.
