It satisfies the first-aid prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses, making it a natural step for anyone progressing toward professional diving on Sri Lanka's east coast.
PADI Emergency First Response is built on internationally recognised CPR and first-aid guidelines and fulfils the first-aid requirement for PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster. Completion is valid for the prerequisite for 24 months.
Emergency First Response is a dry, classroom-based course held at the dive centre near Nilaveli; no diving or water sessions are involved, so it can run on any day regardless of sea conditions.
