The PADI Emergency First Response course teaches the primary and secondary care skills that underpin dive rescue and everyday first aid, and it is a prerequisite on the path to Rescue Diver and Divemaster. Run as a relaxed classroom and hands-on session on the Perhentian Islands, it is a useful add-on between dives whether or not you ever need to use it underwater.
PADI Emergency First Response is based on internationally recognised CPR and first aid guidelines. It satisfies the first aid and CPR prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster and is valid for 24 months.
This is a dry, classroom-and-practice course held at the dive centre on the Perhentian Islands, so it runs in any weather and pairs easily with a diving day during the March-to-October season.
