Build the life-support skills every diver should carry with the PADI Emergency First Response course in Mauritius. This non-diving classroom programme, easily paired with diving in Flic-en-Flac, teaches primary and secondary care to internationally recognised standards so you can respond confidently to medical emergencies on land or at the dive site. It also satisfies the first-aid prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses.

The PADI Emergency First Response pathway

PADI Emergency First Response follows internationally recognised CPR and first-aid guidelines and satisfies the first-aid prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster. Completion is recommended for refresh every two years.

Emergency First Response is a classroom-based course with no in-water component, run from the Flic-en-Flac dive base and easily scheduled around west-coast diving so you can certify without losing a day on the reef.
