Course overview

Emergency First Response is a stand-alone CPR and first-aid course that builds the confidence to help in a medical emergency, on land or at the dive centre in Baa Atoll, Maldives. It is open to everyone, not just divers, and satisfies the first-aid prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses.

The PADI Emergency First Response pathway

Emergency First Response is PADI's CPR and first-aid programme and is the recognised way to meet the first-aid prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster. The certification is typically recommended for renewal every two years.

This is a classroom and skills-based course held at the dive centre in Baa Atoll, with no in-water component, so it can run on any day regardless of sea conditions.
