Course overview

The PADI Emergency First Response course teaches primary and secondary care so you can act confidently in an emergency, on a dive boat off Alor or anywhere else. It is a non-diving classroom course and the required first-aid foundation for the PADI Rescue Diver and professional ratings, making it a smart add-on before tackling Alor's more demanding sites.

The PADI Emergency First Response pathway

PADI Emergency First Response is built on internationally recognised CPR and first-aid guidelines and satisfies the first-aid prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Instructor ratings. The certification is typically recommended for renewal every two years.

Where you'll dive in Alor

This is a classroom and dry-skills course run at the dive base near Kalabahi, with no in-water component, so it can be completed on a non-diving day before or between your Alor dive trips.
