Course overview

Become a PADI Divemaster, the first rung of the professional ladder, on Fujairah's east coast where calm, shore-accessible reefs make day-to-day dive supervision easy to learn. You will build leadership and dive-management skills guiding certified divers around sites like Dibba Rock and Snoopy Island, and finish ready to assist instructors, lead certified divers and work in the dive industry.

What you’ll learn

• Lead and supervise certified divers safely on local reefs
• Assist a PADI instructor with student divers in and out of water
• Conduct dive briefings, site set-up and surface management
• Demonstrate the 24 essential dive skills to demonstration quality
• Map a dive site and run a search-and-recovery scenario
• Apply dive theory, physics and physiology to real dive planning

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 18
• PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) and Rescue Diver certification
• Emergency First Response (primary and secondary care) within 24 months
• At least 40 logged dives to begin and 60 to certify
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & assessment

   Dive-theory study and exams, plus water-skills and stamina evaluations.
2. Day2
   Skill demonstration

   Polish the 24 essential skills to demonstration quality in the calm bays off Snoopy Island.
3. Day3
   Rescue & mapping workshops

   Complete the rescue assessment and map a dive site at Dibba Rock.
4. Day4
   Supervised leadership

   Lead certified divers and assist an instructor with students on local reefs.
5. Day5
   Internship & certification

   Continue practical application across real courses and finalise your Divemaster rating.
