Earn your first professional rating with the PADI Divemaster course in Ambon on the Banda Sea, training in one of the planet's richest critter and macro environments. You build dive-leadership and supervision skills mapping and guiding sites such as the muck slopes of the Twilight Zone and the Coral Gardens, finishing certified to lead certified divers and assist instructors.
PADI Divemaster is the entry-level professional rating in the PADI pathway and the prerequisite for the Instructor Development Course. Certified Divemasters can guide certified divers, assist instructors and independently conduct certain PADI programmes such as Scuba Review and Discover Snorkeling.
Training happens around Ambon Bay's muck and reef sites — the Twilight Zone, Coral Gardens and a local wreck — where moderate currents and warm 27-29°C water build genuine dive-leadership skills. Bay diving runs year-round, with peak Banda Sea conditions in the March-April and September-November windows.
