Course overview

PADI Discover Scuba Diving is the easiest way to try breathing underwater for the first time, and Fujairah's calm, shallow east-coast reefs make it gentle and reassuring. With an instructor beside you the whole time, you cover the basics and then explore the colourful coral and reef fish off sites like Snoopy Island, all without any prior experience or certification.

What you’ll learn

• Breathe comfortably underwater with scuba equipment
• Equalise and descend gently with instructor support
• Clear your mask and recover your regulator
• Move and control yourself underwater near the reef
• Recognise common marine life such as reef fish and rays

Prerequisites

• No experience or swimming certification required
• Minimum age 10
• Basic good health and comfort in water
• Able to complete a brief medical questionnaire
