The PADI Deep Diver pathway

PADI Deep Diver certifies you to the recreational depth limit of 40 metres and emphasises planning and gas management rather than decompression diving. The specialty counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Where you'll dive in Seychelles

Deep training uses Mahe's outer granite pinnacles and walls, including Brissaire Rock and the Shark Bank sites, where the slopes carry you to recreational depth in 26-30C water. The April-May and September-November windows bring the clearest water and the best chance of whale sharks and rays.
