Course overview

Extend your limits to 40 metres with the PADI Deep Diver specialty on Grand Cayman, where the island's dramatic vertical walls plunge straight from shallow reef into the abyss. Across four dives on the famed West and North Walls you learn deep-dive planning, gas management and how to manage narcosis in the clearest water in the Caribbean. You finish certified to dive to recreational depths of 40 metres.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver certification
• At least 15 logged dives recommended
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and first deep dives

   Cover deep-diving theory and complete the first two dives building depth along the West Wall.
2. Day2
   Deep wall dives and certification

   Make the final dives toward 40 metres on the North Wall, practise narcosis tasks and certify.
