Course overview

The PADI Deep Diver specialty extends your limit to 40 metres and teaches you to plan and manage deeper dives safely, and Fujairah's east coast offers ideal deeper sites toward Dibba and Musandam. Across four dives you learn gas management, narcosis awareness and safety-stop discipline among gorgonian-covered walls and deeper reefs.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to a maximum of 40 metres
• Manage gas supply and no-decompression limits at depth
• Recognise and respond to nitrogen narcosis
• Use a redundant air source and run safety stops
• Monitor colour and light changes with increasing depth

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water certification
• Comfort and experience with dives near 18-30 metres
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & dives 1-2

   Cover deep-diving theory, then make the first two dives building depth and practising gas management toward the Dibba/Musandam deeper sites.
2. Day2
   Dives 3-4 to 40m

   Complete the deeper dives to a maximum of 40 metres, practising narcosis awareness and safety stops, then certify.
