On the Perhentian Islands, the PADI Scuba Diver certification serves as the entry-level Basic Diver option, qualifying you to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a PADI professional. Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and confined water

   First Open Water knowledge sections and confined-water skills practice in calm shallows off Long Beach.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives and certification

   Two supervised open-water dives to 12 metres on a local reef, then PADI Scuba Diver certification.
