Course overview

Begin your certified diving journey with an entry-level PADI scuba program at Netrani Island on Karnataka's Murdeshwar coast. This short course introduces fundamental scuba skills and safety theory before a shallow, instructor-led dive over the island's reef. It is a gentle stepping stone for beginners who want more than a single try-dive on the way toward full Open Water certification.

The PADI Basic Diver pathway

This entry-level PADI scuba program introduces core skills and theory ahead of full certification. The skills you practise can be credited toward the PADI Open Water Diver course when you continue your training.

Where you'll dive in Netrani Island

Training uses the shallow, sheltered sections of Netrani Island's reef, reached by boat from Murdeshwar, where calm, clear water in the October-to-April season offers an easy setting for first certified dives.
