Course overview

Begin your diving journey in Coron with an entry-level supervised programme that takes you beyond a single try-dive without committing to the full Open Water course. Over two days in warm 27-29C water you develop confined-water skills and make supervised dives to a maximum of 12 metres on sheltered sites, possibly including the shallow Lusong Gunboat. It is a relaxed, confidence-building introduction to scuba.

What you’ll learn

• Set up and use basic scuba equipment
• Breathe comfortably and move underwater
• Clear your mask and recover your regulator
• Manage buoyancy and equalisation
• Communicate with standard hand signals
• Dive under supervision to a maximum of 12 metres

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• No experience or swimming certification required
• Comfortable being in the water
• Complete a medical questionnaire; some conditions require a doctor's sign-off

1. Day1
   Skills foundation

   Introductory theory and a confined-water session to master breathing, mask clearing and buoyancy basics.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives

   Make supervised open-water dives to a maximum of 12 metres on sheltered sites such as the Lusong Gunboat.
