Course overview

Ease into scuba with a guided introductory diving programme in Ambon on the Banda Sea that goes beyond a single try-dive. You build core skills and make supervised dives to 12 metres over Ambon Bay's gentle reefs — a relaxed bridge toward the full PADI Open Water Diver certification, which the experience can credit toward.

Delivered within the PADI system, this introductory supervised programme sits between Discover Scuba Diving and full certification. The skills you complete can be credited toward the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course when you choose to continue.

Skill practice and supervised dives use the calm, shallow reefs of Ambon Bay, where warm 27-29°C water and abundant critter life make an easy first experience. The bay is sheltered and diveable year-round.
