Course overview

Expand your skills and depth range with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in Djibouti, diving the reefs, walls and drop-offs of the Gulf of Tadjoura where the Red Sea meets the Indian Ocean. Across five adventure dives, including deep and underwater navigation, you build confidence to explore to 30 metres and sample specialties like wreck, night and enriched air in one of the Red Sea's least-crowded destinations.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced Open Water)
• PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another agency
• Basic comfort with buoyancy and dive skills
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation

   Complete the required Deep adventure dive on a Gulf of Tadjoura wall and the Underwater Navigation dive on a reef.
2. Day2
   Elective adventures

   Choose and complete three elective adventure dives, such as wreck, night or peak performance buoyancy, to certify.
