Course overview

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in Bohol Panglao certifies you to dive to 30 metres and builds your skills across five adventure dives, including deep and underwater navigation. Panglao is an ideal place to advance, with the dramatic coral walls of Balicasag Island, the drift potential at Pamilacan and the easy reefs at Doljo and Napaling all within reach.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced Open Water) or 15+
• PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another agency
• Basic comfort and reasonable in-water skills
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation dives

   Complete the core Deep Adventure dive on a Balicasag wall and the Underwater Navigation dive on a Panglao reef.
2. Day2
   Elective adventure dives

   Finish three elective adventure dives, such as buoyancy, drift or night, around Pamilacan and Doljo before certification.
