Course overview

Build real range and confidence with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in Ambon on the Banda Sea, an unbeatable training ground spanning muck, reef and a famous wreck. You complete five adventure dives — including deep and navigation — at sites like the Twilight Zone and the Hesperus, finishing certified to dive to 30 metres.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced)
• PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation

   Complete the required deep adventure dive on a local wall and the underwater-navigation dive at a site such as the Coral Gardens.
2. Day2
   Elective adventure dives

   Make three elective adventure dives — for example wreck on the Hesperus, night or buoyancy — then debrief and certify.
