The stern of Suzy's Wreck — the propeller is Goa's postcard wreck shot.
Davy Jones Locker sits about 600 m from Suzy's Wreck on Grande Island, Goa. It is widely believed to be the stern section of the SS Rita that broke off when she struck rocks during the storm that sank her — though some dive guides claim it is a separate unidentified wreck.
The signature feature is a huge propeller that still stands almost upright on the seabed at 16 m. Large groupers shelter inside the broken stern; tuna and barracuda pass through. The dive sits in slightly stronger current than Suzy's — Advanced Open Water is recommended, though confident OW divers with a guide can manage it.
Dive shops in North Goa run this as the second dive after Suzy's on a typical Grande Island day trip. Visibility 6–12 m. Season runs October to May with peak visibility November to February.
