About MV Carpe Vita

MV Carpe Vita is a 38-metre (127 ft) custom-built liveaboard sailing the central Maldivian atolls year-round, with a dedicated diving dhoni so the main yacht stays a calm, comfortable base between dives. Built in 2011 and fully renovated in 2025, she carries 22 guests across en-suite, air-conditioned cabins on three tiers — Standard, Superior and Suite.

Trips run 5 to 10 nights with up to four dives a day, free Nitrox for certified divers and an on-board chef serving full-board buffets, beach barbecues and free wine with dinner. Routes are timed around manta season at Hanifaru Bay and the South Ari whale-shark zone, with cleaning stations, hard-coral thilas and channel drifts in between.

Amazing cruise to the Maldives

Amazing, especially during the shark dives. My dive guide Naathi was so helpful and calm — always helping me hook in and take videos.

Great dive cruise in Maldivian waters

My 8th Maldives trip and the Central route was fantastic. Only 14 guests, professional dive guides, NX32 nitrox, manta rays, draft beer after diving and superb food. Everything done right.
