Good to know
How cold does it get?
Mola season is driven by cold upwellings — water can drop to 18°C at depth. A 5–7 mm wetsuit (ideally with a hooded vest) keeps the dives comfortable.
Why 45 dives for Mola Mola?
Crystal Bay combines cold water with downcurrent. Around 45 dives and an AOW card mean you can focus on the sunfish, not the conditions.
Are mantas reliable too?
Yes — Manta Point off Nusa Penida is one of the most dependable manta sites in the region, year-round.
