Frequently asked questions
Do I need to swim?
Basic comfort in water is enough. We don't time anything — you stop when you want to. Most beginners hold breath 30–45s by end of pool session.
Is this the same as scuba?
No — freediving uses no tank. You breathe at the surface, descend on a single breath, return. Quieter, lighter, closer to fish.
Will I get certified?
Try Freediving gives a recognition card, not a full certification. To certify, continue to Basic Freediver or Freediver (Level 1) — see add-ons.
Age limit?
12+ years old. Under 18 needs parental consent.
What if I panic underwater?
You're on a single breath in shallow water with an instructor an arm's reach away. Worst case: you exhale and surface — happens to everyone the first time. The pool session teaches relaxation specifically to prevent panic.
