The SSI Wreck Diver pathway

SSI Wreck Diving teaches survey, mapping and safe line use within recreational limits. It counts toward SSI Specialty Diver and Master Diver recognition and complements the Deep Diving and Enriched Air Nitrox specialties.

Where you'll dive in Galapagos

Wreck-skills dives run from Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz, using deeper rock-and-wall sites such as Bartolome and Cousins Rock and the drop-off at Beagle Rocks to practise survey and line work in current. As Galapagos is a big-animal reef destination rather than a wreck hotspot, the focus is on transferable technique on volcanic terrain.
