Course overview

The SSI Scuba Diver course in Malta and Gozo is a quicker entry certification covering the foundations of the Open Water programme. You learn core skills and make supervised open-water dives to 12 metres in the islands' calm, clear bays, then can upgrade to full Open Water Diver when ready. It suits divers short on time who still want a recognised credential.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & confined water

   SSI academics and confined-water skills in a sheltered, shallow Gozo or Cirkewwa bay.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives

   Supervised open-water dives to around 12 metres, then certification.
