Train to handle and prevent diving emergencies with the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course in Djibouti, set on the calm Gulf of Tadjoura where Red Sea meets Indian Ocean. You learn to spot and defuse stress before it escalates and to manage real rescues through hands-on scenarios at quiet reef sites. It is a confidence-building step on the SSI path toward Divemaster.
SSI Diver Stress & Rescue requires current React Right (or equivalent CPR/first-aid) training and is the SSI rescue-level prerequisite for the Divemaster rating. Knowledge sections and certification are delivered through SSI's digital training system.
Scenarios are run at the sheltered reef sites of the Gulf of Tadjoura, where calm-to-moderate conditions and warm 24-30°C water through the October-to-February peak provide a controlled stage for realistic rescue practice.
