Course overview

Get back in diving shape before exploring Grand Cayman with the SSI Scuba Skills Update, a guided refresher for certified divers returning after time away. You review safety knowledge and core skills in calm, shallow water, then dive the island's walls, wreck and stingray flats with confidence restored. It is the ideal reset for the warm, clear Caribbean.

What you’ll learn

• Refresh safety knowledge and procedures
• Set up and check scuba equipment
• Practise mask clearing and regulator recovery
• Re-establish buoyancy and trim

Prerequisites

• Existing entry-level scuba certification (any recognised agency)
• Minimum age 10
• Returning after a period away from diving
• Diver medical questionnaire (clearance if indicated)
