Course overview

The SSI Scuba Skills Update is a fast refresher for certified divers returning after a break, and Fujairah's gentle east-coast reefs are an easy place to get back in. You review safety essentials and rehearse core skills with an instructor before a relaxed dive off Snoopy Island, regaining comfort and confidence quickly.

What you’ll learn

• Review dive safety and planning knowledge
• Re-practise mask, regulator and buoyancy skills
• Rebuild smooth descents, ascents and air management
• Refresh buddy checks and problem-handling basics
• Re-familiarise yourself with equipment assembly

Prerequisites

• Existing entry-level scuba certification (SSI or recognised equivalent)
• Minimum age 10
• Completion of the SSI medical questionnaire
