Course overview

Become a certified diver in South Ari Atoll with the SSI Open Water Diver course, gaining the freedom to dive to 18m on the same reefs that border the whale-shark protected area. SSI's flexible, performance-based training suits the atoll's relaxed island pace.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & confined skills

   Study the digital materials and practise core skills in confined water.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives 1-2

   Complete the first two reef dives in the sheltered house-reef zone.
3. Day3
   Open-water dives 3-4

   Finish the remaining dives to 18m and certify.
