Course overview

Earn your SSI Open Water Diver certification in Cancún and Cozumel and gain the freedom to dive to 18 metres worldwide. Your open-water dives unfold on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef - Cozumel's drift reefs or Cancún's MUSA sculptures - amid turtles, rays and clouds of tropical fish.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & pool

   Work through SSI digital modules and confined-water skill circuits.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives

   Apply skills on a calm Cozumel or Cancún reef.
3. Day3
   Final dives

   Complete certification dives on a drift reef or the MUSA.
