Course overview

Experience Grand Cayman's reefs transformed after sunset with the SSI Night Diving specialty, watching nocturnal creatures emerge and tarpon hunt in the glow of your dive light. Across your night dives near George Town you build the light-handling, navigation and orientation skills that make diving in the dark safe and rewarding. The specialty counts toward SSI recognition ratings.

What you’ll learn

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• SSI Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification)
• Comfortable buoyancy control
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Night diving

   Complete the digital academics by day, then make night dives near George Town over the evenings, practising light signalling, navigation and orientation, finishing with certification.
