Course overview

Certified divers can explore Thailand's Phi Phi Islands on guided SSI fun dives, cruising the limestone walls, coral gardens and swim-throughs of the marine park with a local guide. With reefs reaching around 30 metres and frequent encounters with blacktip reef sharks, turtles and seasonal leopard sharks, each dive captures the best of the Andaman Sea. Log it all in your MySSI digital logbook.

What you’ll learn

• Re-establish buoyancy and trim before exploring deeper reefs
• Read Phi Phi's wall and coral-garden layout underwater
• Identify resident and seasonal marine life with a guide
• Manage air, depth and no-decompression limits on each dive
• Dive responsibly with minimal reef contact

Prerequisites

• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification from any recognised agency
• Minimum age 10-12 depending on certification level
• Recent dive experience or a Scuba Skills Update if out of practice
• Diver medical self-declaration; physician sign-off if any condition applies

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Briefing & gear

   Meet your guide, confirm certification via MySSI and set up equipment.
2. Day2
   First dive

   Drop onto a coral-garden or wall site to check buoyancy and ease in.
3. Day3
   Second dive

   Explore a deeper reef or swim-through, scanning for reef sharks, turtles and tropical fish.
