Course overview

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty teaches you to dive with higher-oxygen blends to extend your no-decompression limits, valuable for Fujairah's repetitive reef and deeper diving. Delivered mainly through SSI's digital platform, the course covers analysis, planning and safe use of nitrox so you maximise bottom time at sites like Dibba Rock and the deeper walls toward Dibba and Musandam.

What you’ll learn

• Understand how enriched air extends bottom time
• Analyse and label nitrox cylinders correctly
• Calculate maximum operating depth and oxygen exposure
• Plan nitrox dives with a computer or tables
• Manage oxygen across repetitive dives

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• No in-water dives strictly required for certification
