Course overview

The SSI React Right course in Muscat delivers CPR, first aid and emergency oxygen training in a single classroom day, no diving required. It satisfies the emergency-care prerequisite for SSI Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide, making it a practical companion to dive training before heading out to Oman's Daymaniyat Islands. You leave with a recognised first-aid and CPR certification.

What you’ll learn

• Deliver primary care: CPR, rescue breathing and AED use
• Provide secondary care first aid for injury and illness
• Administer emergency oxygen to an injured diver
• Control bleeding, manage shock and immobilise injuries
• Assess a scene and prioritise patient care
• Activate emergency services and coordinate a response

• No prior experience or certification required
• Open to divers and non-divers
• No swimming ability or medical clearance needed for this classroom course
