Course overview

Earn your first professional rating with the SSI Divemaster (Dive Guide) programme in Tarkarli-Malvan, qualifying you to guide certified divers and assist instructors through the MySSI digital system. The calm, sheltered bay beside Sindhudurg Fort and the boat-accessed reefs of Maharashtra's Konkan coast give a relaxed, controlled setting to build leadership, dive-theory and demonstration skills.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 18

• At least 40 logged dives toward certification
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Orientation & water skills

   Programme briefing plus swim, float and tired-diver-tow stamina assessments in the calm bay.
2. Day2
   Dive theory & exams

   Work through the SSI dive-theory modules and sit the exams via MySSI.
3. Day3
   Practical workshops

   Dive briefings, mapping and search-and-recovery practice on boat-accessed reefs near Sindhudurg Fort.
4. Day4
   Skill demonstration

   Polish the demonstration-quality skill circuit in the sheltered shallows.
5. Day5
   Internship & assessment

   Assist on real student courses and complete your practical assessment to certify.
