Earn your first SSI professional rating with the SSI Dive Guide and Divemaster path in Komodo, guiding certified divers through current-swept seamounts and manta cleaning stations. Across a multi-week internship you build the current-reading and dive-leadership skills that Komodo demands, leading groups at sites such as the Golden Passage and Mawan. You finish ready to supervise dives, assist instructors and work as a dive professional worldwide.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 18
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent certification
• SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification
• Current first-aid, CPR and oxygen-provider training
• Specialty certifications and at least 40 logged dives (rising toward SSI Divemaster requirements)
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1

2. Day2

   Practical workshops

4. Day4
   Guiding internship

   Lead certified divers and assist instructors at sites like the Golden Passage over the internship phase.

   Assessment and certification

   Final evaluations, emergency planning and SSI certification processing through MySSI.
