SSI Try Scuba on Havelock gives complete beginners a guided first dive in the gentle, 28°C Andaman Sea. Under close instructor supervision you'll experience weightlessness over shallow coral off Havelock's protected beaches, surrounded by clownfish and reef fish. It's a low-pressure taste of the underwater world with no certification required.
SSI Try Scuba uses a free digital orientation and can lead directly into the SSI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver programs.
The program runs on Havelock's calm beginner reefs in shallow 6-12 metre water with excellent visibility. The Andaman Sea's warm, clear conditions make spotting clownfish, parrotfish and small reef life easy on a first dive. Sheltered sites mean the experience runs reliably across all seasons.
