Course overview

Reach the recreational depth limit with the SSI Deep Diving specialty in Hurghada, where the clear Red Sea drops into walls patrolled by sharks and draped with colourful gorgonian fan corals. Over a series of dives toward 40 metres, you build the planning, gas-management and narcosis-awareness skills that make deep diving safe. You finish certified to explore Hurghada's deeper offshore reefs with confidence.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent certification
• Comfortable buoyancy and air-monitoring skills
• Medical clearance to dive signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & first dives

   Work through SSI deep-diving theory and complete the first dives building depth on Red Sea drop-offs.

   Depth & certification

   Complete dives toward the 40-metre limit with narcosis and gas-management exercises, then certify.
