Course overview

Master the skill that transforms your diving with the SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty in Rasdhoo Atoll, where coral-rich reefs and shark drifts reward divers who hover with ease. You will dial in weighting, trim and breath control on the atoll's gentle reefs and finish gliding effortlessly, using less air and treading lighter on the reef.

What you’ll learn

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10 (junior) or 12
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & buoyancy dives

   Weighting and trim theory, then open-water dives refining hover, trim and finning at a calm reef such as Three Palm, followed by digital certification.
