Course overview

The SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty in Muscat sharpens your weighting, trim and control so you move gracefully over Oman's reefs at Bandar Khayran and the Daymaniyat Islands. Using SSI's digital theory and focused dives you learn to hover effortlessly, streamline your kit and conserve air while protecting the coral. You finish certified as an SSI Perfect Buoyancy diver.

What you’ll learn

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• SSI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
• Basic comfort with scuba equipment
• Medical statement and physician sign-off where indicated

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Digital theory & hovering

   Complete SSI buoyancy modules, fine-tune weighting and practise hovering at a sheltered Bandar Khayran reef.
2. Day2
   Trim & certification

   Refine trim, streamlining and air control on a Daymaniyat reef dive, then certify.
