Course overview

Perfect your control with the SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty in Fiji, refining trim, weighting and breathing over Beqa Lagoon's soft-coral pinnacles. Through SSI academics and open-water dives you learn to hover effortlessly, conserve air and glide over fragile reefs without contact. It is among the most rewarding skills for protecting Fiji's famous soft corals and improving every dive.

Prerequisites

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Weighting & first dive

   Optimise weighting and trim, then practise hovering and control on a Beqa Lagoon soft-coral reef.
2. Day2
   Control & evaluation

   Complete a second buoyancy dive refining streamlining and breath control, finishing the SSI evaluation.
