Course overview

Master effortless control with the SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty on Bangaram Island, dialling in your weighting and trim over the coral reefs of remote Lakshadweep. Improved buoyancy makes diving more relaxed and protects the delicate atoll reef from contact. The course earns you the SSI Perfect Buoyancy certification.

What you’ll learn

• Find your optimal weighting and weight placement
• Hold neutral buoyancy and horizontal trim
• Hover in control in any orientation
• Use breathing to make fine buoyancy adjustments
• Move over reefs without contact

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10 (Junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician
