Course overview

Earn your SSI Advanced Adventurer certification at Sipadan and open up the region's deeper, more advanced diving on the Sipadan walls and the macro reefs of Mabul and Kapalai. Across five adventure dives you sample specialties such as deep, navigation, drift and perfect buoyancy among turtles, reef sharks and barracuda. It is the SSI rating that takes you to 30 metres and sets you up for further specialty training.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or a qualifying certification from another agency
• Basic buoyancy and comfort in open water
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation dives

   Recommended Deep and Navigation adventure dives on a Sipadan-area wall and a Mabul reef.
2. Day2
   Elective adventures and certification

   Three more adventure dives such as drift, wall or perfect buoyancy around Mabul and Kapalai, finishing with certification.
