Course overview

Open up Rasdhoo Atoll's best diving with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course, which takes certified divers deeper and into the drift and channel sites that define this island. Across five adventure dives you sample specialties such as deep, navigation and drift diving, finishing certified to 30 metres and ready for sites like Madivaru Corner and the dawn hammerhead trips.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to 30 metres
• Navigate confidently with a compass and natural references
• Handle drift and timing in moderate currents
• Improve buoyancy, trim and air efficiency
• Sample five different specialty adventure dives
• Build experience on deep walls and channel reefs

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation dives

   Digital knowledge reviews, then the Deep adventure dive on an outer wall and the Navigation dive on a contoured reef.
2. Day2
   Elective adventure dives

   Three further adventure dives such as Drift at Madivaru Corner and Perfect Buoyancy, then digital certification.
